All I know is that
at the end of 2007, just before Obama took office, I lost my $52,000 per year
job because it was shipped to China.
Ever since then I have been having to take temp jobs that barely pay
enough money to pay for the gasoline to get to those jobs. I am 45 years old now and I don't think either Republicans or Democrats
are going to make it possible for me to have any chance to make a come back and
get back to comfortable living. I have
become very frustrated with the job market of today because employers are
taking advantage of the job market by paying employees very low wages with no benefits and if
the employee says anything about it, the employer just calls the temp agency
and replaces the employee. In my opinion, employers are being allowed to
treat their employees as commodities rather than people. I miss the days when the employee had a voice
in the work force through labor unions.
